Volvo XC90 Trim Levels

Volvo XC90: Core

We open with the 2023 Volvo XC90 Core. This trim level features a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that produces 247 horsepower. All trim levels are outfitted with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. 

On the outside, the Volvo XC90 Core gives quite the impression. It has tinted rear windows, 19-inch 6-spoke Turbine Silver wheels, and bright integrated roof rails. You'll also get a laminated panoramic moonroof. 

The interior of this trim level is stylish, with sleek features like leatherette upholstery, aluminum tread plates, and the Iron Ore aluminum inlays.

All your passengers can remain comfortable with the 4-zone automatic climate control system and heated front seats. There are also power-adjustable front seats with power 2-way lumbar support. There's even memory in the driver's seat to ensure you're always perfectly positioned, even when someone else has taken a turn at the wheel. 

When it comes to technology, you'll enjoy a 9-inch touchscreen as well as Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility. This allows you to access even more features, from streaming your favorite music and podcasts to staying connected with phone calls and text messages.

Finally, you can take advantage of safety features, such as the BLIS™ (Blind Spot Information System) and Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Keeping Aid, Front and Rear Park Assist, and Road Sign Information. These features help you put safety first and remain aware of your surroundings.

Volvo XC90: Plus

Next up is the 2023 Volvo XC90 Plus. You'll notice some differences on the exterior. This trim level includes 20-inch 10-spoke Black Diamond Cut alloy wheels and a front grille in matte silver with chrome frame, helping the exterior shine.

Inside the vehicle, you'll get a more modern look, with leather upholstery, Linear Walnut décor, and illuminated sill molding. The interior also offers a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats so your back-row riders are as comfy as you and your copilot. 

Finally, you'll also get upgrades to the safety system with Park Assist on the front, rear, and sides, as well as a 360-degree camera. It offers five views, including a bird's-eye top view of your Volvo XC90 and its surroundings. That way, you'll be fully aware of any obstacles in your path.

Volvo XC90: Ultimate

The final trim level is the 2023 Volvo XC90 Ultimate.  Its 21-inch 8-multi spoke Black Diamond Cut alloy wheels are aerodynamically designed and enhance the overall elegance of this vehicle. 

Additionally, you'll get more luxe interior features, like Gray Ash inlays, ventilated Nappa leather upholstery, and a genuine crystal gear selector knob by Orrefors®. Power-adjustable side bolsters and a driver's power cushion extension also come standard on the front seats for more comfort.

The upgraded Harmon Kardon® Premium Sound system features 14 high-fidelity speakers and an air-ventilated subwoofer to provide a first-class listening experience. It turns your XC90 into your private concert hall.
